A three stage process
The TLS comprises a unique three-stage
process – from extensive research, to an intensive one-day
think tank and reception, to the subsequent publication of
the incisive TLS report.
The diagram below shows the timeframe and tasks completed at
the three stages.

Stage One
- Knowledge Creation
TLS commissions research
three months before the one-day Think Tank; this research
aims to identify what key players in Asset Management see
as the most important issues facing the industry. The
research topic is set by the Industry through strategic
dialogues with key players which take place before the
Summit. Our expert analysts will then use the results to
develop “Thought Starters” – ideas that form the basis for
the TLS debate.
Duration – 3 months prior to the workshop
Stage Two - The Thought Leadership Summit
A one day think tank is then staged allowing dialogue to take place between leading decision-makers, our “Thought Leaders”, from all sectors of industry, across Europe and overseas.
Monday 6th November 2006, in Monaco
Stage Three
- Knowledge Distribution
After the Think Tank,
Industry experts analyse the results of the Summit, and
publish them in a unique White Paper. Featuring
commentary, insight, analysis and interviews, the White
Paper is distributed to participants and circulated to the
wider Asset Management industry two months after the
Summit itself.
Duration – 2 months after the Think Tank
